Something Extraordinary Just Happened
When you said yes to Jesus Christ, something extraordinary happened. You are forgiven. You are loved. You are not the same person you were before. The Bible says the old has gone and the new is here — that's you, right now.
What Does It Mean to Follow Jesus?
A disciple is someone who follows Jesus not just as Savior, but as Lord. It means a daily commitment to knowing Him through His Word, talking with Him in prayer, and living in a way that reflects His love to others.
Discipleship means growing — not being perfect. God doesn't call the equipped; He equips the called. Every follower of Jesus was once exactly where you are right now: at the beginning.
Being a disciple also means being part of a community of believers. You were not designed to follow Jesus alone. The Church is God's family — and you now belong to it.
"If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."
